Kent has been a part of FSSI since 2000. He grew up the son of a sprinkler fitter and was always around construction, working summers as a laborer for his grandpa’s excavation company through his high school and college years. He graduated in 1993 as a Mechanical Engineer from Purdue and worked for Dana Corporation and Otis Elevator before deciding to escape the corporate world and work with his dad and brother to help grow FSSI. Kent went through the apprenticeship and worked as a journeyman in the field for several years before moving into the office. He enjoys spending his spare time with his wife, Kathy, and children, Ty and Macie.
Kevin grew up on the east side of Indianapolis and got his start in construction as a teenager, framing houses and working in the ditches with an excavating crew. He graduated from Purdue University in 1996 with a Civil Engineering degree and began his career in construction project management. In 1999, he decided to trade his suit and tie in for a pair of bibs and joined FSSI, completing the union apprenticeship program and driving a service truck before moving into a management role upon his dad's retirement in 2005. He has enjoyed growing the business alongside his brother and business partner, Kent, over the past 20 years. He spends most of his free time biking and road-tripping with his wife and kids.
